AT&T will offer you a 4G version of Acer's 10.1-inch tablet with Android 3. (Honeycomb) OS through its stores countrywide and through its website.
Sales from the Acer Iconia Tab A501 through AT&T shops begin Sept. 18 at $479 with no two-year service contract or at $329 having a two-year agreement for a brand new $35, 3GB monthly data plan.
Named includes a 10.1-inch multi-touchscreen, Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile 1GHz dual-core processor, and 4G HSPA technology, not 4G LTE technology.
Customers that do not sign a 2-year service contract can choose a prepaid or postpaid month-to-month service plan. The postpaid plan costs $14.99 for 250MB of information or $25 for 2GB. Customers who exceed the 2GB allotment are billed $10 per 1GB of overage. Customers about the 250MB plan who exceed their monthly data allotment is going to be billed $14.99 per 250MB of overage. Charges show up on the consumer's monthly wireless claims.
